Resolution of Conflicts with Consumers
In case of controversy, when the user has the status of a consumer according to the applicable regulations, El Rei del Mar informs of the existence of alternative dispute resolution mechanisms, in accordance with the provisions of Law 7/2017, of November 2, relating to the alternative resolution of consumer disputes.
The consumer can access the Consumer Arbitration System, an extrajudicial procedure, free and binding for both parties, by submitting an arbitration request to the Consumer Arbitration Board of Catalonia.

In cases where these extrajudicial mechanisms are not resorted to, the Courts and Tribunals of the consumer’s domicile will be competent. For users who do not have the status of consumers, the Courts and Tribunals of Girona will be competent, with express waiver of any other jurisdiction that might correspond to them.
