REFRESHER COURSES
The refresher diving course is designed for people who haven’t been diving for over a year and want to feel confident underwater again.
The course starts with a short theory session reviewing the basic diving concepts, equipment usage, etc.
After the theory, you’ll practice in a swimming pool to refresh and refine your skills.
Then, you’ll go for an open water dive accompanied by a qualified instructor.
This course is perfect for those who want to safely get back underwater with confidence.
With this course you will refresh:

✔ How to control your buoyancy
✔ How to dive safely
✔ How to dive responsibly
After the course you will be able to:
✔ Return to diving within the limits of your certification
✔ Continue your diving education

To help protect the seabed of the Medes Islands Natural Reserve and reduce the risk of divers damaging the seabed, we commit to conducting refresher activities at dive sites outside the reserve, on the Montgrí Coast, within the Natural Park. **Before taking part in the activity, you must fill out a medical questionnaire to verify there are no health contraindications. You’ll find this Medical Statement attached to ensure you’re fit for the activity. If unsure, check with your doctor or ask us for more info.
During the course you’ll need:
✔ Documentation: diving certification and medical statement / certificate
✔ Swimsuit
✔ Towel
✔ Flip-flops or water-friendly footwear
✔ Sun protection***
*** To protect marine life, we try to avoid sunscreens that may be harmful to certain species.
Try to substitute sunscreen with protective clothing and accessories, avoid sunscreen as much as possible, or use one that is guaranteed to be eco-friendly.
